Earrings for Fabulous Friday!

These gorgeous earrings are about 3 1/2 inches long and come in either silver or gold. You will be able to select from a variety of bead colors available that night.

FABULOUS FRIDAY 2009

October 23, 2009 from 5:00P - 9:30P is Fabulous Friday! Come enjoy a fun Fall night of classes, crafts, great food, and -most importantly- great company!

To sign up for the projects, please add your name to the sign-up sheets outside of the Relief Society room at the church building on Sunday. Then submit your money with a tithing slip and envelope along with a Fabulous Friday slip and give to a member of the Relief Society Presidency - please do not include any other tithing/donations.

COOKIE SHEET ADVENT CALENDAR:

The kids in your life will LOVE counting down when they get to leave cookies for Santa with this fun cookie sheet advent.

Cost: $10.50

We will provide: Cookie Sheet, Ribbon, Vinyl, Magnet

You will need: nothing!

COUNTDOWN BLOCKS:

These cute blocks are a fun way to count down to Christmas, Halloween, birthdays, or any special event! You can sign up for a Christmas, Halloween or Generic set...or one of each! Each block is a 4"X4" cube and the base is 2"X4"X8"

Cost: $7.75

We will provide: Wooden blocks, Scrapbook paper (holiday specific or generic), Mod Podge glue, Vinyl, Paint, brushes & sandpaper

You will need: nothing! (unless there is a specific paper you want for your blocks)

DECORATIVE POCKET NOTEBOOKS:

Cute little notebooks that you will be able to custom cover! They fit nicely in a purse and have a ribbon so you can mark you place in it.

Cost: $1.00

We will provide: Notebook. Scrapbook paper, Ribbon & Glue

You will need: nothing!

PLACEMAT PURSES:

These adorable purses can be used for scripture totes, make-up bags, or just a fun purse!

Cost: $0.00

We will provide: Instructions, Sewing machines, Thread (black, white & tan), Hot glue

You will need: 1 rectangular placemat, 18" of ribbon or other handles, Embellishments (as needed/desired), Other thread color - if needed

IF YOU PLAN TO MAKE A PURSE THAT NIGHT, PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE CAN HAVE ENOUGH SEWING MACHINES.

SEASONS BLOCKS:

These cute blocks are reversible, so you get two seasonal words in one set!

Sets Available:

Spring/Summer set: HOP/FUN

Fall set: BOO/YUM

Winter set: JOY/HUG

The tallest blocks measure 2"X4"X6"

Cost: $3.50/set

We will provide: Wooden blocks, Vinyl - for each seasonal set, you will get the 2 - three letter words associated with that season and 2 embelishments (a tree for joy, a heart for hug, etc.), paint, brushes & sandpaper

You will need: nothing!

CHURCH ABC BOOK:

This is a fun book you can create and personalize for your children or grandchildren!

Cost: 50 cents

We will provide: Idea sheet, Print-outs for text, ABC letters

You will need: 1/2" inch 3 ring binder (or other small scrapbook), Scrapbook paper, Coordinating pictures

You will be given the idea sheet, text print-outs, and ABC letters on Fabulous Friday and you are welcome to work on it that night, or bring it home.

If you want to do this project that night, let us know and we will get you the idea sheet ahead of time so you can start gathering the pictures you will need.

A is for Angels -When Jesus appeared to the people in the Book of Mormon, he blessed the children; then angels descended and encircled the little ones and ministered unto them. (3 Nephi 17:18-25) (The picture we used is called “Heavenly Hands” and can be purchased through Deseret book)

B is for Baptize -When we turn 8 years old, we can be baptized just like Jesus was baptized. (Matthew 3:13-17) (Here we used a picture of John Baptizing Jesus, also available through DB)

C is for Church -“I always have a happy feeling when I go to church”(CS-157) (D&C 59:9-10) (I used a clipart picture I had of a chapel, you can try to find another picture if you can)

D is for Daddy -“I’m so glad when Daddy comes home, glad as I can be. I clap my hands and shout for joy, then climb upon his knee.” (Here you use a picture of the Daddy in your family)
